JUNE 2026 Show Schedule

🏝️ Saturday, June 27th Dunedin Downtown Market 9-1pm

Note: This is the last market in the normal location in Pioneer Park before we move over to the summer location just a block away in the parking lot of the Dunedin History Museum.

🏝️ 7 days a week - The Maker and Merchant Tampa
7833 Citrus Park Town Center Mall, Tampa, FL 33625
Monday-Saturday 11am-8pm | Sunday noon-6pm

Indoors, air conditioned, and 100 small and local businesses to shop in climate controlled comfort. It's like a permanent craft show!

**Note: due to my health (lupus) and my medication (methotrexate), I physically cannot be out in the heat and sun for long periods of time, so we are only doing one or two markets a month for the summer. Locals can still find us at our retail store, and I will do my best to try and get more items listed in my etsy shop.

But, as always, if you see me post something and you like it - just reach out!! It's almost always for sale.

During market season, I don't always list things since I'm doing markets nearly every weekend and the time it takes to photograph and list it (plus pay to list it) only to then have it sell at my show, and then need to remember to take it down is just too much to keep up with.

Just a random little tree today. I liked the stone being matte instead of glossy finish and the little rosey band which is why I opted for rose wire. It also just called for a little charm and I had this rose crescent moon, so I added that at the end. And ta da!

There's never enough labradorite pieces ever. (This is a different stone from the one I posted yesterday. ) omg its so pretty. I kinda wanna keep it so hurry up and claim it so I can buy cat food instead of hoarding another shiny rock for myself. πŸ˜†

Fresh off the workbench. Rainbow Solar Quartz trees with stars. Plus a bonus look at my Rainbow nails!

(Which, BTW, I painted *last night* and already the blue is chipped. I do not understand how any wire wrappers have nice, pretty nails because mine are always beat up from use.)

UPDATE or, HEY! LONG TIME, NO POST.
Just wanted to pop in with a quick update since it's been a really hectic and quiet few weeks around here.

I developed shingles on my 49th birthday May 16th and have been struggling health-wise the past few weeks because of it. Shingles causes a lot of pain and fatigue and it's pretty damned miserable. Added to that, I had to stop taking my methotrexate because it suppresses my immune system so it would keep me from healing. But, it also means, my lupus didn't have anything holding it back, so at the same time I was trying to heal my shingles, my immune system was set loose to start attacking *me* as well.

I had to withhold my medication for 3 weeks while the shingles healed, so I've had significant swelling, stiffness and pain in my hands (making it hard to make jewelry), as well as extreme fatigue, brain fog, mental exhaustion, and oh yeah, a multi-day migraine to boot. (Yay, lupus flare!)

All this to say, I just haven't been able to do much for the past few weeks except rest and recover.

Today, I am running to my 2x/year ophthalmologist appointment (one of my meds can cause vision loss/blindness so you need retinal scans and field of vision testing) and then I will be resuming my methotrexate. This does mean, however, tomorrow will be a very intense since I have been off it for three weeks. I'm sure it's going to hit me hard.

It's probably going to be another few weeks before I'm really back to any kind of "normal" so posts may continue to be sporadic for a bit while I try to get my lupus flare back under control.

All this to say, I'm sorry for being so suddenly quiet and unresponsive. Unfortunately, this is how things go sometimes with chronic illness. It can take much longer than you think to get back to a baseline and sometimes, there's just not much you can do while you wait. Creating content may seem trivial, but sometimes, even that is too much mental work when you're in a bad place health-wise. (And it's why I ALWAYS urge people not to judge a person's health by their outward appearance. You don't have to "look" sick to BE sick.)

I hope everyone is having a nice start to their summer and while I may be still a little slow in updates for a bit, I'm still around and you're welcome to message me or comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks as always for your continued support!

I am a naturally crafty and creative person so im always doing things beyond just jewelry for my business. So when I wanted a rainbow wreath for Pride Month to put on my front door, I figured I'd just make it myself.

I already had a faux olive branch wreath that was just the bare greenery, so I got an assortment of rainbow silk flowers and got to work arranging them. And I am so thrilled with how it came out! 🌈🌈

Shingles update: developed on my birthday, Saturday May 16th. Diagnosis confirmed officially Monday, May 18th. Took a week course of antiviral. Rash has gotten better but still shows active blisters in the lower of the two clusters. That one still burns and stings. I also still have deep, aches in my right shoulder blade from the nerve disruption.

It is getting better and I am in much less pain than before. But I habe had to withhold my methotrexate May 18th, May 25th, and today, June 1st because I still have active lesions. Unfortunately, this is causing my lupus to run amok and Saturday at Dunedin, my fingers started swelling so much, I had to take my rings off.

So, improving, slowly, but making progress on the shingles. Seeing backsliding in my lupus of course without my meds to help, which stinks.

Tl;dr: I'm not back up to 100% so please continue to bear with me and remind me if something falls through the cracks. I am back in the studio for at least a little bit every day, but I am behind on a lot of things I had planned and I'm still getting tired faster than normal so my stamina is low.

Thanks for your continued love and support. πŸ’œ
