While I’ve been spending a lot of time lately diving into my Vintage Revival collection, I started this journey as a clay artist — and honestly, creating with clay still feels like therapy to me. 💛

I’m always trying to level up my display and aesthetic. I started with the larger post cards and got lots of compliments (thanks, I borrowed the jdea from someone else 🙃) however, over time, with market conditions (wind, rain, my spastic packing style) they were getting ruined and looking less than stellar. So here’s my level up: vintage playing cards! They weigh more and are smaller - great for my setup preferences. These beauties once adorned coats, dresses, jackets, waistcoats, gloves, handbags, and uniforms—quietly witnessing decades of fashion history before being tucked away in sewing tins, estate sale boxes, and forgotten collections. Now they’ve been given a second chance as one-of-a-kind statement rings.

✨ Fun Button Facts:
• Before zippers became common, buttons were one of the most important fashion accessories and often indicated wealth and social status.
• Decorative buttons became especially popular during the Victorian era, when they were treated as miniature works of art.
• Collecting buttons was such a beloved hobby that “button clubs” began appearing across America in the late 1800s.
• Many antique buttons were handcrafted from glass, brass, mother-of-pearl, porcelain, celluloid, and even carved materials that are rarely used today.
