I said goodbye to this gorgeous girl this weekend at the craft fair🥹. One of my favorites, but she went to an amazing customer who I was so glad to meet!

In person shopping events can be EXHAUSTING for artists. I can’t tell you how exciting and stressful (and every other imaginable emotion) it is to put your heart and soul out for the world to see, and then absorb all of the verbal and nonverbal feedback you get.
✨
It does mean reading into every little comment and look you get from people who come by, despite trying really hard not to.😂
But then it also means so much more when someone sees your work and decides to buy it. Those moments make me feel like I’m on the right path, after all.

When you go to farmers markets, craft fairs, and other events with independent artists and small businesses, remember that your sales mean the ABSOLUTE WORLD to the people you’re buying from. We are one with what we do and what we sell, and each sale sets off sparks in our hearts.
