With the recent return of Israeli hostages, I felt compelled to make “Chai” bracelets and share a little about why this symbol is so meaningful in Judaism. In Hebrew, Chai (חי) means “life”, a powerful symbol of resilience, survival, and the enduring spirit of the Jewish people. It reminds us to cherish life, hold on to hope, and persevere through adversity.
