Remember our post from yesterday? What began as a treasured family heirloom became a one-of-a-kind symbol of a new love story. ✨

This custom engagement ring journey started with Marleigh’s vision and Amanda’s original sketch, thoughtfully designed to honor the legacy of her Granny’s wedding rings while creating something uniquely her own. From there, every detail was carefully considered, from repurposing all eight diamonds from her Granny’s rings to sourcing additional diamonds that would perfectly complete the design.

Watching this ring evolve from an idea on paper to a breathtaking finished piece was incredibly rewarding. Each step of the process carried so much meaning, and it was a privilege to help transform generations of family history into an heirloom that Marleigh will wear for a lifetime.

Custom design projects like this remind us that jewelry is so much more than diamonds and gold, it’s about preserving memories, honoring loved ones, and celebrating life’s most meaningful moments.

Using all eight diamonds from Marleigh’s Granny’s wedding rings, along with a few new diamonds to complete the vision, Murphy-Pitard had the honor of creating a truly one-of-a-kind engagement ring. With Marleigh’s meaningful vision and Amanda’s creativity, every detail was carefully designed to carry her family’s story into this next beautiful chapter.
