Dave and Dolly today. We cleaned up the leg injury and put some medication on it. Will be scheduling her vet visit tomorrow. Happily, she appears sound on that leg. Going to have the vet take a look at that shoulder too. Oh, we measured her today… she’s 15 hands tall right now. Everyone got turnout again. Letting them all enjoy the grass before it’s buried under snow. Tidied up stalls.

Shahtayna (Dolly) is home. She arrived just after midnight. Thank you to Stacey and Tom Archer (LCF horse transport) for taking great care of her along the haul.

Today we got another foaling stall matted. Got a stall ready for Dolly. Everyone out to enjoy the day. Tidied up all stalls. Unloaded the bedding and grain.

Yesterday was a busy day. We put stall mats down (finally) in one of the foaling stalls. We picked up grain and bedding. Tidied up the tools from the truck repair. Today we plan to mat the second foaling stall. Everyone will go out for the day. Stalls will get cleaned. And we will get a stall ready for Dolly (Shahtayna) as she will be home today. Sadly her leg injury is not healing well and we collectively decided to not send her to US Nationals. Huge bummer. We will get our veterinarian on this and get her all healed up so she can hit the show circuit in 2027.

Just finished doing final pregnancy checks on the mares for the year. Happily we have 4 foals coming. Mystica Kissofmarwan, Beijings Ruby BHF, Pia Jamaal and Ajmans Lullaby RAR are all in foal to CM Farids Crusade. We can’t wait to meet these babies!!

Good day today. Spent some time with the two new mares. Gave them a good grooming and some love. Everyone else got their bridle path clipped and manes redone. All stalls cleaned. Everyone out to enjoy the day. Hung some hay bags for the two new girls. I did take a nasty tumble in the barn. I’m super sore but don’t think I injured myself seriously. Happily, I was not handling any horses when it happened photos are of Faridah and Saffire.
