It is March 16, 2025. My name is Mark Bohne, I am Jim Bohne's brother and the owner of the company.

With the transition from the estate (Jim and Marjorie are now in heaven), I have to work through the Probate court.

This has caused delays that are beyond my control. However, as soon as I can get our federal IRS Department to finish their evaluation, the shop will fully open.

Until then, I am only able to provide cash sales for customers who arrive on the days I am present in Enfield.

Marjorie "Butterfly" Anne Bohne Enfield, NH and Broadalbin, NY died Saturday morning at the home of her family after a long illness. She was born April 29, 1949 to Joseph and Helen [Wallace] Gordon on Staten Island, NY. She was a graduate of Katherine Gibbs College, Manhattan, NY. She married James Allen Bohne on September 20th, 1969 at the New Dorp, Moravian Church, Staten Island. After the death of her husband in 2015 she ran Gemstar Gemstone in Enfield, NH until business operations were transferred to another family member. She was an avid collector of butterflies, anything with a Scottish Terrier, and antique buttons. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her two sisters Diana Gordon, Manhattan, NY and Susan Gordon Reese, Ormond Beach, Florida. She is survived by her brother-in-law Mark Bohne, her sister-in-law Jan Bohne, her nephew Matthew [Erin] Bohne, her great nephew Isaac Bohne and her beloved West Highland Terrier, Candy. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 1:30 pm for the burial of Marjorie and her husband Jim’s cremated remains at the Broadalbin/Mayfield Cemetery in Broadalbin, NY.
