This is a repeat post of one that we put up every year just to welcome any and all new neighbors in our community and to let everyone know a little bit about our Farm. Pomeroy’s Vegetable farm is in our 76th season growing organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers for our community.

We are still supplying 100% all natural produce for our locality as did my parents and grandparents did from the very beginning.
The property was purchased by my grandmother January 1, 1950 after selling her farm on South Street in Agawam. She began to farm and sold strawberries, asparagus, and rhubarb at Pomeroy‘s. My parents moved here in 1955 where my father raised chickens, grew vegetables, and ran a Christmas tree farm until 1975. I Purchased the farm in 1998 and continued growing fresh produce from 1975 to 1998. As I worked beside my father while he ran the roadside stand, I participated in farmer’s markets in the surrounding towns.

Tho we no longer sell at markets our roadside stand is operating approximately eight months a year.

My mission is to continue to provide 100% natural vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers free of herbicides, pesticides, and GMO‘s. We are committed to educating people of all ages of the benefits of farming and how beneficial it is nutritionally for both body, mind, and soul.
