On Sunday I attended the Clarke Historical Museum Victorian Tea at the Eurekawomansclub.

This was a lovely fundraiser for the museum with an emphasis on an exhibition that will delve into Humboldtā€™s musical history.

Cassaro's Catering made a plethora of delectable tea treats, each more tasty than the last; how thatā€™s possible Iā€™m not sure.

I was honored to be a co-costume judge with Olivia & Elle, we had our work cut out for us as there were many impressive costumes.

I donated a necklace and earring set, as I do yearly because this museum is an important part of our communities history and builds community connection. I applaud the staff and volunteers for creating such a fun party. From setting the tables with tea cups and other fineries, to the Tarot readers sharing insights, to the harpist to all the gifts for auction, this event took a lot of effort to pull off so elegantly.

A special thanks to Denise of The Costume Box who dialed in my outfit, including the shoes. She even made me a ā€œbum bustleā€ so my dress would floof in true Victorian fashion.

I, of course made my earrings and necklace. It was a treat to see so many wearing my creations at the event as well.

Humboldt is a special place full of amazing humans šŸ’–

I made this Beast Necklace in 2010!
It found its home in 2010 as well.

16 years later I got to see it again šŸ¤— Itā€™s owner, wanted me to ā€œget it ready for party seasonā€ The Sterling Silver wire by the clasp broke down, Iā€™m grateful I was able to repair it with ease.

I made it from fresh water pearls, sterling silver, new and vintage Austrian Crystal, Bali Silver, Czech glass & patience.

It felt good to see my old work again.
