Christopher Duquet Fine Jewelry Design is an award winning, custom jewelry design studio located in Evanston Illinois just north of Chicago. In addition to creating custom-designed jewelry from concept to finished, our studio stocks over 2,000 handcrafted designer fine jewelry pieces. Our personalized approach to engagement rings, wedding bands and bridal sets provides our clients with unique pieces of jewelry that are timeless works of art, inspired by their stories.

Architecture, translated into gold.
For these custom wedding bands, we looked to the doorways of the Sagrada Família for inspiration. Her band draws from the floral motifs carved into the architecture, while his incorporates words and typography inspired by the details found across its doors.
Two rings, each interpreted differently, but rooted in the same place and made to tell one story.

Part 2 🔥 Sometimes the most unconventional requests give us an opportunity to step outside the familiar. A client brought us quite an interesting object with the idea of transforming it into something entirely unexpected. We approached it as we would any custom piece—considering its form, proportion, weight, and character to create a pendant that feels intentional, personal, and distinctly its own.

An exceptional piece we worked on earlier this year for a special customer and collector. This 10 carat radiant cut diamonds gave us a lot to work with and a lot to resolve. We built the ring around the proportions of the center stone, using trapezoid and radiant cut diamonds to continue its geometry. With a ring this scale we added a clasp that allows the ring to open and close for a better fit.
