These are part of the first batch using a paint & relief technique that angielaugel showed me how last month. It’s glaze layering where part of the paint is wiped away to reveal another color underneath. I love it - gotta get better at it but the finished pieces have so much fabulous character. These remind me of the stonewashed jeans we had back in the ‘80’s. Whatcha think?

Little clam shell earrings with a matching necklace. I thought these needed a touch of color so I paired them with Czech glass color cubes. I am going to make more with pearls- won’t those be darling. I’m also planning to adjust my underglaze color a bit for a better hue. Let me know your suggestions!

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Life’s been busy and I’ve been dealing with the ‘Terrible Awful part deux’ since early summer.
I know a lot of folks follow for the tin jewelry but it’s just time for a change.
I had been learning metal clay, which is great, but I’m now learning ceramics and I’m hooked! I made these starfish and created some pretty fabulous earrings (at least I think so).

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything. Life’s been busy and I’ve been dealing with the ‘Terrible Awful part deux’ since early summer.

Wow. It’s been a long time since I made a post. Life & work… work & life have been so busy! I’m trying something new and I hope you all love it as much as I do.
This is silver metal clay. It’s clay until fired in a kiln- kinda like ceramics. It’s actually silver when done. I created this beach pendant from molds I created from tiny shells and nail art molds. It’s so. much. fun. 😁
