Decided to try working with argentium silver, argentium has a slightly higher silver content than sterling, but is a bit harder to work with. You have to be very careful not to quench the piece immediately after you’ve had the torch on it or it with crack and break. It was quite hard to get the argentium solder to flow as well so I struggled a bit with this piece, had to remake the stone setting after having the bezel crack as I was setting the stone but I am very pleased with how this beauty came out. This piece is all argentium silver including the bezel set with a beauty of a piece of rutile quartz, although the shank is dusted with sterling dust for texture.
