I’ve been MIA for a bit. Life is busy as usual! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I hope 2025 is your best year yet!

This single layout took me a little longer than I had hoped. The vibrant colors of the flowers in the photos really challenged me, and sometimes in crafting, if you’re not doing it consistently, your mojo is sometimes lacking. That was definitely me. In the end, WOW, do I love it!

This layout blends old (some, really old) CTMH, and newer SU product. Unfortunately, most of the items used are no longer available for purchase, however, I will still list them in the comments. My goal here was to shop my stash once again.

Happy Friday!

Taking Inspiration from Allison Davis’ ghost stitching template, I decided for this layout, I wanted to try and use products I already had.

So, I used a ghost die from CTMH’s retired Eerie-Sistible Stamp and Thin Cut set (cc10238) to trace the ghosts on white cardstock, drew circles for the eyes and mouths. I then pierced the holes, erased the pencil lines, and began stitching using DMC embroidery floss. I also used a variety of retired products from CTMH to bring it all together.

While the stitching did take me a bit to do, it really was fun to make and the result is stunning! I really love the texture of the embroidery floss.

I hope this inspires you to use items from your stash in a different way! Dies can really be a great option for tracing shapes, words, etc.
