Most tax refunds are spent within a few weeks. Nothing wrong with that.

But if you want to make this one go further, here is something worth considering: a lot of households are sitting on gold and silver they have completely forgotten about.

Jewelry from years ago.
Inherited coins.
Old dental gold.
Broken pieces that never got fixed.

At today's gold prices, those items could be worth a meaningful amount of cash. Combined with a tax refund, that is a genuinely different financial situation. We just published a short post on this on our blog. And as always, free appraisals any time Monday through Friday.

One of the most common things we hear from first-time visitors: "I wasn't sure if it was real gold, so I almost didn't come in."

Please bring it in anyway. We test everything right in front of you. You will know exactly what you have within a few minutes.

Sometimes people are surprised... in a good way. Sometimes it turns out to be gold-plated and not worth much. Either way, you will know.

Free appraisals, no appointment needed.
Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 5pm.

Tax season means a lot of us are thinking about money a little more carefully than usual.

If you have gold jewelry, old coins, or silver sitting around that you never use, right now is genuinely one of the better times in recent memory to find out what it is worth.

We offer free verbal appraisals with zero obligation. You come in, we tell you what your items are worth at today's market price, and you decide what to do from there.

No pressure, no hard sell.

Stop in any time Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 5:00pm.
We are at 5240 Dixie Hwy in Fairfield, just past Jungle Jim's.
Look for the wagon out front.
