2 weeks ago, my personal account was hacked and then the stupid hackers managed to get my account permanently disabled with no way to appeal. I lost access to everything but my business IG page. Somehow though, because my IG business and my FB page are linked in the business suite, I can still share posts BUT I cannot log in directly and manage the page. 🙄 I also cannot access Messenger. So if you have tried messaging me and I have not responded, that’s why.
I went ahead and got Meta Verified to help protect my IG account (which I think is a scam 😠) and see if I could talk to a real person for help in recovering my account, but was unsuccessful.
So in the meantime, I had to create a new personal account and start all over. I’m not sure I want to create a new business yet. I was heart broken. So much time and energy went into building a following for it all to be taken away in a matter of days and then no support to recover it.
I hope you see this and realize that people out there are losing their accounts to hackers and AI bots and have no way to recover them. What does FB recommend? Spend money to get certified. Your bot is really quick to disable accounts. 🤔 Where are your community standards?
