On our last day of Kwanzaa and the first day of 2026, we celebrate Imani, meaning faith. As a shop owner and creative entrepreneur, you move through this world stepping out on faith daily to bring something special to your community. Shionne Designs has been a part of the metro Detroit community for close to 30 years, so that must mean that a great number of you had faith in me, my works, my dream. I want to give a shout out to a few, there are so many of you who bless my business with your support: Randy and Carmen Henry, Marie Morris, Sommer Realy, Jennie Beeker, Deborah Johnson, Sairy Garcia, Akua Budu Watkins, Jessica Care Moore, Regina Donald, Barbara Gooch, Flo Boutique, EttaFlyy, Dr. Rema Reynolds, Beverly Allen and the DST-Torch of Wisdom Foundation and Rita Dandridge and The Links Inc. Thank you all for your continued love and support. I wish I had room to name more. 2025 taught me a lot about my strengths and my weaknesses, but it also helped me to see a better and brighter future in 2026 and beyond. Happy Kwanzaa and Happy New Year!✨
