I often get asked, "Why mandalas?" There is just something that resonates with me. The balance of the shapes. The harmony with nature. The enjoyment I get out of drawing them. I realize this is not very deep, but...that's just me.

Blue Moon is a type of Turquise. I couldn't resist and bought several pieces when I was at the Tucson Gem show earlier this year. So, of course, I decided to try to replicate it in glass. This is not quite like the real thing, but it does make for a lovely ring!

Because our show-hauling Suburban is in the shop and rain is moving into the Hill Country this weekend, I’ve made the decision to not attend the Texas Hill Country Art & Wine Festival.

The silver lining? All the new jewelry collections will be heading to my website next week instead!
