Who’s ready for another exciting day at the Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo?

Join us on Sunday, May 24th from 10am to 3pm at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles for our Memorial Day Weekend Edition of the expo.

As always, we will have a huge variety of animals, feeders, supplies, tanks, and knowledgeable vendors ready to help answer questions and share their experience with visitors. Whether you are looking for reptiles, amphibians, birds, small exotic mammals, invertebrates, puppies, kittens, or just a fun family outing, there will be something for everyone.

All adults will receive a free raffle ticket with paid admission.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗨𝗧-𝗢𝗙-𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗢𝗥𝗦

Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo has been contacted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture regarding animal import requirements that must be followed moving forward.

The primary requirement affecting our out-of-state vendors is that animals being brought into Illinois must be accompanied by a valid 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗩𝗜) issued by a licensed veterinarian.

• 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀: A CVI is required and must include the age, s*x, breed, and description of each animal. The CVI must be issued 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 of the expo date.
• 𝗘𝘅𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀: (Defined as mammals, reptiles, and birds that are not native to North America and are not normally maintained as livestock, as well as native mammals that are not domesticated and normally kept as pets. This definition does not include hamsters, guinea pigs, or gerbils.) A CVI is required and must list the number of animals and species, and when applicable, the age and s*x. The CVI must be issued 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟯𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 of the expo date.
• 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀): 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁

𝗨𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, all out-of-state vendors must present their CVI to Scott Smith’s All Animal Expo staff for review 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗽.

Since we typically host two expos each month, vendors may be able to time veterinary visits so that a single CVI covers more than one show date.
We strongly encourage all vendors to review the Illinois Department of Agriculture guidelines to ensure full compliance, especially if you bring animals outside of the categories listed above.

COME ON OUT

𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿 & 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗜𝗻 – 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯𝗿𝗱 (Vendor list at the bottom of the post)

We’re checking in with all of our vendors and visitors as we get ready for this Sunday’s Thanksgiving Edition of 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗵’𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼 at the 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀.

We have a full lineup of vendors bringing reptiles, amphibians, birds, small mammals, puppies, kittens, invertebrates, feeders, tanks, supplies, and accessories — all inside 18,000 square feet of excitement.

This show also features two special 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁s:
• 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 – Bring a canned or boxed food item and receive $𝟯 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Donations benefit 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵.

This special Halloween-themed show is packed with excitement for vendors and visitors alike. Here’s what’s happening:

Get creative and show off your Halloween spirit. We’ll have contests for both families and animals, with three prize levels awarded in each category.

All I can say is Wow ! Wow! Wow! What a phenomenal NARBC SHOW. It was a record sales for Creepyexotics . I want to thank each and every one of my customers who purchased geckos and supplies ❤️💯 and also whoever stopped by just to talk geckos and say hi to the Momma. I also got quite a few surprises at the show. I got to see my sister Micky Taylor and her husband, Brian. My sister blew me away because she gets so much anxiety from reptiles bugs and everything. It took a lot for her to come to the show to see me. Love you Micky ❤️💯 Also my nieces Clar Bodde and Brianna Taylor. And also my nephew Robby Taylor who I haven't seen in a long time and his wife Caitlin❤️ I hope you all enjoy your new reptiles that you purchase at the show 🥰 And then what a phenomenal surprise I got. A couple that I haven't seen for the longest time Janel Cornejo and her husband Richie. I was so happy to see both of you ❤️💯 Welcome back into the community. You have been missed ❤️ I got so many hugs which fills my heart as all of you know ❤️🤗 I also want to say thank you to everyone because if it wasn't for each and every one of you we would not be where we are today in the business. With the economy the way it has been it's been a real struggle but as always we keep pushing forward to do what we love ❤️🥰
