Laurent Guillot’s OCEAN design is a rare example of Lucite pushed to its most expressive, sculptural limits. Each segment is large, uneven, and organically shaped, formed under intense heat until the material reaches that fleeting, viscous stage where it can still be coaxed into movement.
While the Lucite is still warm and pliable, Guillot applies a silver‑foil inlay, embedding light directly into the material before it cools and hardens into its final crystalline form. The result is a surface that feels alive — shimmering, tidal, and quietly dramatic.
