My Local History Section is being built and filling in at my store and there's a lot more to fill the shelves. You will see Coal Mining history, you will see Bottling and Brewery history, you will see War and Military history, you will see Business Advertisement History, you will see Dairy and Creamery history, you will see Geographical History and you'll even see a big piece of Freeland Coal. Coming soon I will give access to my entire store to most everyone. The main Antique and Crystal Showroom will have a different operating schedule then what the Gold and Silver operates on. It will operate under a tighter and shorter schedule but will be accommodating nonetheless.

A scarce, original antique chromolithograph from 1911 commemorating the dedication of the General Casimir Pulaski statue in Washington, D.C.

This vibrant piece of Polish-American history features the Pulaski monument in the center, flanked by portraits of the two great Polish heroes of the American Revolutionary War: Tadeusz Kościuszko and Kazimierz Pułaski.

The artwork is rich in symbolism, featuring the U.S. Capitol building in the background, the American and Polish flags, and the crest of the Z.N.P. (Polish National Alliance / Związek Narodowy Polski) at the bottom center.

The text reads "Pamiątka z Roku 1910 - Pomnik Kazimierza Pułaskiego" (Souvenir from the Year 1910 - Monument of Casimir Pulaski). While the event occurred in 1910, this specific souvenir broadside was copyrighted in 1911 by A.J. Emanski and published by the Wyoming Valley Pub. Co. in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This makes it a unique cross-collectible for those interested in Pennsylvania coal region history and the Polish immigrant experience.
Item Specifics:

Date: Copyright 1911.
Publisher: Wyoming Valley Pub. Co., Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Medium: Color Lithograph on Paper.
Framing: Housed in an antique period wooden frame.
Dimensions: approx. 16" × 24"

Price: $200
