So I am officially doing something totally new for the holidays this year and I am so excited about it.

I put together a charm advent calendar and it is already listed in my Etsy shop, but I woke up this morning and decided it needed something extra special.

Starting today every single calendar is going to include a chain (my goal is to add this to the Etsy listing today,too )so you can start wearing your charms right away or if you are a maker then you have a chain that you can play with.

You can choose between a mini six day option featuring six different charms or a twelve day version with twelve different charms to unbox.

Did you know...

Rooted in old folklore the celestial bodies have a personality of their own.

This design springs from the idea of the moon taking a well-earned break after pulling the tides all day.

Instead of watching distantly from the sky, this moon sits back, relaxes, and shares a quiet moment under the stars. lol 😝

And that is what I am trying to do right now before the storm that is the holidays.

I also added ( in the listing) a photo of the black Kyocera opal, which did not really photograph well on the jewelry. The photo is directly from the website where I buy these so it is much more accurate. Lol.

And as you can see, you have your choice of a leather chain or a sterling silver snake chain.

I tried finding "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" to play in the background, but it wasn't in the playlist. And let’s be honest, this guy is way too sweet to be causing any holiday hit-and-runs. lol

He is sitting in my Etsy shop, and while he’s definitely on Team Rudolph in spirit, he’s missing the bright red nose! 🔴

This ornament doesn't have a personalized name tag attached because, full disclosure, he was one of the very first ones I made and listed, and I hadn't even thought about adding custom tags yet! 😄

Good morning! I just listed another ornament in my Etsy shop, and this one is for all the cat lovers.

I was thinking about how many different ways this piece can be used. You can have it personalized with a cat’s name, customize it with a recipient’s name as a gift, or create a sweet memorial ornament for a friend who recently lost a beloved pet. Or of course for yourself if you are a cat lover or recently lost your cat. (if that is the case, I am so so sorry.)

My very first holiday ornament of the season is finally live in the shop, and this one is dedicated to my fellow hummingbird lovers.

I handpaint every single one of these, and because of the liquid nature of this painting process, there is a whole lot I cannot control once the paint starts moving.

That means no two will ever turn out identical. The only promise I can make is that I use the exact same color palette for each piece.

’ve had these handcrafted metal bookmarks finished for a while now. It just takes me way too darn long to get things listed!

I’ve been playing around with something new lately.

I really love the idea of being able to customize some of my jewelry, so I’ve been practicing my stamping. My first new item will be a bookmark similar to my other bookmarks, but this one will be personalized with a name.

And then I’m thinking about custom necklaces, too. Maybe silver or copper with different charms that can be added or mixed and matched. I haven’t completely worked it all out yet, but I’m having fun figuring it out.

So today I’m just sharing the beginnings of these bookmarks and a few of the samples I’ve been making.

I think these cuff bracelets are just perfect for fall, so I’ve been working on updating their photos on my website.

There are five of them, but I’ve only gotten two photographed and edited so far. These are the new photos of those two, and I haven’t even gotten them onto the website yet.

Hopefully I’ll get the rest done today. But as many of you already know, photo editing takes so frigging long!

I have absolutely nothing new to show you today. lol

No new listings on my Etsy shop or my website since last week, which feels a little strange to say.

But I have been at my bench working away and honestly loving every minute of it.

It does feel like things are starting to shift a bit. I’m noticing more finished pieces in my Etsy shop are being ordered, which makes me think people might be starting their holiday shopping already.
