Voted Best Caterer in Kane County for 2026… and honestly, I’m still trying to process it. 🥹🏆

What makes this even more special is that I never campaigned for votes or asked anyone to push this for us. To know that people thought of Cody’s Belly Bites on their own means more than I can put into words.

From delivering hot meals during the pandemic, to rebuilding after setbacks, to now being recognized like this… wow. What a journey.

Hosted Meal Etiquette Tips 🍽️

If you’re invited to dine, let the host lead the experience.

• Buffet etiquette matters too , portions are meant to be balanced so everyone can enjoy the meal. Take what comfortably fits on the serving spoon or one serving item at a time, rather than several at once. You can always come back for seconds once all guests have been served.

• When food is being catered buffet-style, it’s proper etiquette to wait until setup is fully complete and the host announces it’s time to eat before making your plate.

• Stopping the catering team/person during setup for “just for a quick bite” may seem harmless, but it disrupts the flow, timing, and presentation of service while staff are actively arranging, replenishing, labeling, and preparing the buffet for guests.

Good manners are part of good dining.
