I lived in Dutch Harbor years ago for a short while, it’s a remote island on the Aleutian Chain in AK. Friends there became family and we still all keep in touch. (One friend became my husband.)
This ring is going to one of those family members, thank you Kay Deffendall.
The stone is a Persian Turquoise, a beautiful clear blue with flecks of pyrite, cut by my friend Debra.
