The "DIFFERENCE" Between BIG Box Jewelers and Private Local Jewelers...

A customer came to us and wanted a small dragon pendant. He wanted to customize it by adding a small green emerald stone in the eye socket of the Dragon.

I went through the entire customization process with him. Explained everything in detail. From start to finish. The size of the actual pendant, the weight of the actual pendant, time frame, pricing etc...

Once we crafted the pendant and he picked it up on delivery...he unfortunately didn't have that "WOW" factor that everyone gets when they leave with their BEAUTIFUL custom designed piece from 💎Paris The Jeweler💎

Obviously, this concerns me as a business owner.

Keep in mind that ALL custom designs are final and it's hard to refund customers for anything we have created for them.

Almost 💯 of all Jewelers will just tell you "Sorry, no refunds or exchanges on ALL custom designs" you are now stuck with something even if you don't like it.

This is NOT how I like to operate. 😑

The end result is that my customers leave HAPPY! Especially spending good money.

His concern was that the pendant was too small and not solid enough to wear daily. He was afraid that it would get damaged quickly with his lifestyle and wearing it. (This was all addressed to him in the beginning because he had a "budget" and it only allowed for what he received)

However, I was able to work with him, and offer a creative solution that we could "add onto" his piece and strengthen/solidify the design to his liking.

At this point, my objective was to have him content and I was willing to absorb some of the additional cost on the upgrade pendant to see him "light up"🤩 when he sees the finished Piece.
