Dalmatian Jasper showcasing a few different weave patterns in copper.

Some builders find weaving to be extremely frustrating and tedious. It can be a nightmare for beginners to get consistent. After a while though something starts to change, almost evolve if you put in the effort. It almost becomes like therapy for a racing mind and hands that simply must have activity. I enjoy it thoroughly!

Happy Mother's Day!

I got a little fancy. Ok a lot. This is Libyan Desert Glass!

So we've shown you Moldavite before which is a super cool deep green tektite glass that was formed from a meteor impact around 14 million years ago.

Libyan Desert Glass is even older! With a speculated age of around 29 million years old, this tektite glass is the result of a massive meteor strike in the deserts of what is now modern day Libya! How freaking cool, right?!

Ok so maybe I'm a bit of a nerd about this stuff, but I believe it's that passion for origins that makes me strive to get better with my wire wrapping.

Knowing just how special that piece of glass is, makes me really want to give it my all when I wrap it. They deserve the attention right?!

As if that wasn't enough, I had this gorgeous 1.97 carat London Blue Topaz that I've been wanting to include in the right piece. This was definitely fitting. Both absolutely awesome stones paired in copper.

We realize that copper may not be the aesthetic for everyone! Unfortunately prices of silver have skyrocketed and this makes it impossible for us to keep silver in stock. We can't afford the pieces to sit in our inventory.

Silver plated is a thing, but the plating will eventually wear down to copper in some spots. This is exactly why I've stopped working in plated except for in my weaves.

All of this being said, it doesn't mean I won't work in silver or gold, or even stainless. But that type of work will only be done on commission basis with a 50 percent deposit up front to cover material. Something to keep in mind if you like my work but don't want copper!

We have hundreds of cabachons, raw and faceted gem options to choose from to build you something truly one of a kind!

This husked and polished ammonite is so freaking cool!
I almost can't help myself from buying them immediately when I see them!

Oversized frame for this chonky boi so it stands up to time and wear. Honestly I love this piece and I'm happy to keep it. But, I do this as a hobby and part of that is selling pieces for more inventory and supplies. So, it's gotta go!

I've been wanting to do one of these amethyst cluster cabachons for a while now and we finally sourced one!

I've had it in my possession less than 5 hours and I already have it wrapped if that tells you how excited I was to do it! 😜

It's definitely minimalist to keep all of the attention on the amethyst! Oversized gauge frame makes me sure this piece can stand up to time!
