I do love a happy surprise after a long faceting session. The gemstone gods were beaming after I finished this one 🫠😜. 2.9 carat gradient sunset Tourmaline. The color gradient is due to natural dichroism in the rough material. It doesn't always turn out this nice, but I was lucky today.
