Wax carving —> finished project!!!

This ring was carved by Alexandra, Studio Dahl’s July student spotlight, with a custom-made wax carver she made and was cast in sterling silver and oxidized 🐦‍🔥 one is polished and one is finished using Japanese garnet sand called kongo-sha.

Alexandra made a mold of her first carving so she could cast multiples of her piece. She can now cast in any metal she would like!

Studio Dahl can guide you through the making process, from wax carving,to molding, casting, and final finishing!

Join us for a week of creativity, fun, and hands-on projects as young artists dive into the world of jewelry design. Our camp is perfect for kids eager to explore their artistic side and craft their own unique pieces of jewelry and artwork!

Happy Birthday to one incredible woman! 🌻🥰🥳

I often get asked where the name Studio Dahl came from.

There is a longer version I will someday share but ultimately it is named after my grandmother, Beverly who was such a light in my life. I am so grateful to carry her name and memory with me through Studio Dahl.

Happiest of birthdays to a woman with a laugh that was completely contagious and a smile that could light up any room, my grandmother Beverly Dahl Kops. She would have been 76 today. 🌻 Happy Birthday Nanny, I miss you ever single day 🫶
