Memorial Day 🇺🇸

It is not just about a long weekend, a BBQ, or shopping for a discount.

It is a reminder that the lives we live every day came at a cost. Some pay a higher price than others, and this day exists to honor the men and women who, without hesitation, gave everything for our country. My heart is with the Gold Star families who carry that unimaginable loss and grief every single day, alongside immense pride in their loved one’s loyalty and service to their country. Freedom is not free.

Today, try to pause before you eat, shop, or party. Remember the lives that were lost so we could have the freedoms so often taken for granted. Knowing and seeing even a small part of the sacrifice that military life asks of families never stops being humbling. Support other military spouse and veteran-owned businesses, hug your people a little tighter if you can, and don’t forget there are families who would give anything for just one more ordinary BBQ together.

Get To Know The Coastal Cowgal

I grew up in Coronado, California and spent most of my life at the barn and traveling showing my paint horses. Horses, sunshine, salty air… that’s always been home to me.

Life has taken me a few places along the way: Miami OK, Stephenville, Austin, San Antonio… after college as a medical esthetician and laser technician and now NW Florida as a military wife, pet mom and small business owner. If you know military life, you know it comes with a lot of uncertainty. Moves you didn’t plan, goodbyes you didn’t expect, and learning to bloom wherever you land. But somehow, in every place, I always find my way back to the ocean one way or another! The sea is where I get my inspiration. The colors, the calm, the wildness of it all. It reminds me a lot of life - beautiful, unpredictable, and always changing.

The Coastal Cowgal was born from that mix of things I love most: a little western soul, a little salt air, and a lot of heart.
My dream is simple is to create pieces inspired by the coast and one day be able to give back to the ocean and the people working so hard to protect it. Conservation and rehabilitation are so important!!!! 🎏🐚🪼
