The Ivy Hill Farm Apple Dessert Contest returns this Saturday, October 24! Contestants of all ages are invited to showcase their favorite apple-inspired creations and compete for sweet bragging rights. Whether you're entering the contest or simply stopping by to sample the delicious desserts, it's a wonderful way to enjoy a fun community event while supporting a meaningful cause.

This week is Spiritual Care and Bereavement Week! This year’s theme is “Healing Through Presence and Grace”. Spiritual Care and Bereavement Week is a time to honor and recognize our team of compassionate people who work hard each day to provide quality spiritual care and counseling to patients and families during the most difficult season in life. Our team provides a listening ear, assists in funeral or memorial services, provides pre-bereavement counseling, and spiritual and emotional support.

This year, we’re celebrating 250 Years of America and Washington County, MD, while raising vital funds for Doey’s House, the only inpatient hospice unit in our community. Our teams are getting into the spirit and dressing to impress!

The countdown is on! Hospice of Washington County’s Celebrity Waiter Gala is happening Friday, November 6! This year, we’re celebrating 250 years of America and the rich history of Washington County, Maryland, while raising vital funds for Doey’s House, the only inpatient hospice unit in our community.

We’re excited to announce this year’s awards! Our Celebrity Waiters will compete for Best Costume, Best Decorated Table/Theme, Waiter Spirit Award (chosen by the audience), Most Guests in Attendance, Advanced Giving Fundraiser, Highest Event Day Fundraiser, and the coveted Top Fundraiser Overall Award—the Silver Platter Winner!
