✨What an incredible day at Pearls by the Bay! 🐚

Having attended this conference in the past, I am always amazed by how much more there is to learn. It was wonderful to reconnect with friends who are leading experts, while sparking new connections with other industry leaders, fellow jewelers and enthusiasts alike.

This year’s highlights included a deep dive into the meticulous farming and sorting of Japanese Akoya pearls; an insightful session with Co-Founder of Perlas del Mar de Cortez, Enrique Arizmendi, on the history and current state of the pearl farm in Guayamas; and a look at the rapid innovations reshaping the freshwater pearl industry as well as an update on possible trips to pearl farms with Jeremy Shepherd, CEO Pearl Paradise and President of Pearl Association of America.

Ending the day with Pearl Bingo, wine and delicious hors d’oeuvres was perfect! So bummed to have almost won twice 😅!

A huge thank you to our host Sarah (Founder/Owner) and her crew for organizing such an important educational and fun event! 🥂🎊✨
