I began doing estate sales approximately 15 years ago working with my cousin and her husband at their sales and auctions in the E. I eventually decided to form my own company in the Shreveport/Bossier area since this is my home, and I now have a growing list of satisfied customers. Ho
wever, I do not limit myself to just the Shreveport/Bossier area, and will travel anywhere it is feasible to do so. ToTheAtticandBack Estate Sales is committed to honest and ethical business practices. We know that, regardless of the reason why, the need for an Estate sale can be a very emotional and trying time for a family, and we strive to make the sale as stress-free as possible for our clients. I have hard-working, honest, caring people who work every sale with me. Vivian, Jan, and I try to get the sale set up and held as quickly as possible and will bring in the amount of people necessary to do so. A sale is generally a two-day event held on Friday and Saturday. All prices are held firm for the 1st day, and are discounted on the 2nd day, usually 25% in the morning and 50% in the afternoon. General household items and appliances are priced according to current market trends, age, and condition. Antiques, glassware, pottery, collectibles, etc, are researched and appraised, if need be, before they are priced. Clients do not have any out-of-pocket expenses. I pay for all labor, advertising, and miscellaneous items out of the commission charged. We prefer to deal in cash only; however, we are now accepting credit cards, but no checks.Because I do not have to wait for checks to clear I am able to pay clients within 24 to 48 hours of the end of the sale. When considering a sale please do NOT throw anything away. Almost everything in your home can generate profit for you. Let us make the decision on whether or not something has value.
