Sometimes gray blending can be very subtle. Sometimes that’s all you need. To look less two-toned and to get rid of some of those brassy ends.

Maintenance? Mainly re-toning the ends to maintain a cooler blend. I offer custom blended toner kits for some, and I can recommend the best products for all.

This is a subtle change that can have high impact on your look.

Yesterday was one of those big grey blending days where I go into full-on creative mode… foils flying everywhere, bowls stacked up, towels on the floor 😂

By the end of it my whole studio needs to be mopped from ceiling to floor. It’s just the price I pay for getting in the zone, I guess.

But honestly? Worth it.

Her blend came out so soft — she’s mostly salt with just the tiniest bit of pepper, so we took her right into her natural silver. Her hair wasn’t holding the pepper today, so we’re saving that for her next visit (about 3 months).

I mixed her a custom toner kit to use at home, and she’s gonna check in with me when she needs a little freshen-up in between.

Creative chaos + a beautiful blend = a good day in the studio

When your hair is curly on the bottom and straight / heavy on the top, layers and texture is the answer.

That top hair was so heavy it was dragging her face down.

We blended her grey and a cute new flattering style for this lovely woman!!

I had so much fun with Kristina’s blend!! we camouflaged her grow out and took the edge out of of some of the warmth that she had without covering it completely.

The result is a better grow out without a drastic change.

This isn’t for everybody, but it is for many.

there are three tiers of gray blending that I offer.

The first tier is a very soft subtle blend. It’s a camouflage in a soft way where you don’t want a lot of change and you just want to maybe not have to come into the salon as often.

The second tier is a a little boulder. Kristina’s blend was the second tier. The time was about four hours. It’s a camouflage that doesn’t completely change the ends, for instance, she had a lot of warmth in her ends and we camouflage it so it didn’t show as much matching her pattern carefully.

The third tier is the big one! It’s a total transition. This is where we take all of your hair and do our best to give it a match and blend to the roots.
That being said, my goal is to get it as close as possible. Always a little warm warmth will shine through and there will be maintenance. That is the nature of color.

Just because you choose the full transition doesn’t mean that you won’t have maintenance. That is something we talk about before, and after the appointment.

I offer these appointments with limited availability and I’m booking into 2026 now and for these appointments, I also require some natural grow out so we can better match your pattern

We look younger with our silver!
I find this to be true!
The main thing I find to look youthful with your natural silver or grey is texture. No “fussy” dos, and you don’t need to have every hair in place.
In fact it’s better not to.

This lovely lady shed layers of more than her hair as she took this empowering step.
