CONTEMPORARY ring by AJDC memberMark Schneider Design . MATERIALS Platinum and 18kt rose gold ring with free-form fire opal, tsavorite garnet, and white, yellow, and brown diamonds. TECNIQUES Hand-carved wax, lost wax process, cast manufacture, hand finished. NOTES "This piece was inspired by the Los Angeles Music Center, designed by architect Frank Gehry. The ring may seem to contradict my commitment to form and function in design, but in reality, it embodies it. Once you wear this ring, you'll notice how comfortable it is as it conforms to your finger." 2009. Mark Schneider.
