It's Homecoming season, and Saturday was Hilton Head's.

We couldn't post this over the weekend because we didn't have a photo.

After 4 year of Volleyball at Hilton Head Island Noll has decided to drive "The Golden Spike."

That means retire from the game.

When approached about comment, he has almost nothing to say.

Today is the day that has been 22 years in the making.

Dan Bigger will officially retire from volleyball today.

22 years, 3 kids, 5 club teams, too many matches to count, thousands of dollars spent, and it all comes to an end today.

When asked for a quote, Dan said, " It's been a long run. Years of my life gone, but enjoyed. Now, it's time to move on. I may still attend some matches/tournaments here and there as I still have 1 big fish in the game and a whole lot of kids in her club to support."

Oh, and Noll will be retiring too. Details tomorrow.

We had a nice visit from a friend of ours from New York.

Suzanne happened to be in our area and stopped in for a couple of days.

Not only did she stop by and catch up, but we put her to work too.
