What started with an unexpected accident on vacation became an opportunity to reimagine and restore pieces filled with meaning.

After falling while away, and damaging her wedding set, we repaired and rebuilt our client’s wedding band to look like new.

Then we transformed her engagement ring into a stunning three-stone design using her original center diamond alongside a pair of unworn diamond studs. ✨

To complete the project, we also created a custom right-hand ring inspired by a design from our showroom, featuring her own heirloom diamonds in a timeless bezel-set style.

There’s nothing we love more than giving new life to treasured stones and creating pieces that tell your story. 💍

A little Hingham Jewelers history moment ✨

We’ve been family owned since 1948 — and proud to be Hingham’s very first jewelry store.

These photos tell the story of one of the hardest chapters in our history. In January 1988, a fire tore through Hingham Square and destroyed our store, then located on South Street. But if there’s one thing our family knows how to do, it’s keep going.

We reopened down the street in a temporary space (swipe for second-generation owner Stacey working behind the makeshift counter 👏), and by 1990, we had officially moved to South Hingham.

One of our favorite photos here is current owner Michael, now third generation, with the grandparents who started it all 🖤 Working his first Christmas at 2 months old 👶🏼

78 years later, we’re still here because of family, resilience, and this incredible community that’s supported us through every chapter.
