My new favorite necklace! It’s so special because it lets me keep both Kennedy Ann, my new granddaughter, and my mother close to my heart. ❤️

As many of you know, I lost my mother earlier this year – and in the same year we had the blessing of becoming grandparents to Kennedy Ann. I knew I wanted a piece to represent them both that I could wear daily.

I chose one of our engravable heart pendants and added Kennedy’s name. The necklace also contains the diamonds from my mother’s engagement ring. I used the diamonds from the side of her ring to create a diamond-by-the-yard chain and hung the primary diamond next to the heart charm.

What’s incredible and so special is that *every* piece is from Whitney Gordon’s! My dad purchased my mother’s engagement ring here 67 years ago! 💍

It’s a girl! 💕 Kennedy Ann was born on Saturday, 9/19 making Michael & I grandparents for the first time! We raced over to South Shore Hospital at 4:30am and were able to meet her just an hour and a half after she was born. She’s beautiful and has so much hair just like our daughter when she was a baby. Parents Alysia and Sean are doing wonderfully.

Kennedy is perfect and we are over the moon in love! We’re so excited to take on our new role as grandparents. 🥰

A cause that is near & dear to us. ❤️ As many of you know our son Matt underwent a lifesaving kidney transplant this summer, getting a transplant from his wife’s twin sister! We are incredibly grateful to the National Kidney Foundation for their support throughout this process.

On Sunday, October 4th we’ll be walking with family & friends in Boston to help raise money and awareness for kidney disease at the New England Kidney Walk. Funds will go directly to The National Kidney Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease.

This nonprofit is close to our heart as they were there for us when we needed education, when we needed doctors, when we needed supplies, and when we needed support - and we will be forever grateful for them. ❤️
