I came all the way to Beverly Hills to visit the store where I bought my two Rolex Submariners back in 1990… only to find out the store is gone.
That’s the thing about this business. Stores disappear. Trends change. Dealers come and go.
But the watches? The memories? Those stay forever.
Funny how a watch can instantly take you back to a different time in your life.

That’s the funny thing about this business. The rarest watches aren’t always the ones flooding Instagram feeds. Sometimes it’s the obscure references, special configurations, or pieces so limited that even insiders can’t easily source them.
That’s where relationships matter.
Anyone can talk watches. Very few can actually find the impossible.

Friday, May 15, 2026. Here is the current state of what’s happening on site at the Miami store for the Swatch x AP release.
The line has officially taken on a life of its own.
At this point, there are unofficial “queue managers” maintaining order, organizing names, and deciding positions in line despite having no affiliation with Swatch or AP. For now, everyone seems relatively calm, but there’s also very little visible structure or security presence considering the size of the crowd and the level of hype surrounding this release.
This could end up being a smooth and memorable launch… or a complete disaster. That’s the reality when you mix massive demand, overnight campers, resellers, collectors, and social media hype into one environment with no clear authority controlling the situation.
