Spent day 12 at the estate home setting up and organizing the garage. We'll return on Monday and start in on the workshop/tool room.
We will have everything ready in time for the sale next weekend the 24th & 25th of October.

This made day 8 at the Greater Eastwood estate home in the 77023 area of Houston. We now have two rooms staged and everything priced. Still have some treasures to price in other rooms, but most of this old home is about ready.
The garage and tool room will take some time with arranging and pricing. As an example, those photos are at the end.

Hi Folks, Please read. We have never set something like this up before.

Everyone knows about Hurricane Isaias plowing through the Florida Panhandle.

One of my best friends of 45+ years, Mike Faulkner was in the storms path. Mike lives in a semi-rural area near Pace which is to the east of Pensacola, Florida. Winds took down a bunch of large trees and power lines on his property including tearing up his roof, carport and porch area. Mike is not one to ask for help, but he realizes this is more than he can physically deal with. I am posting with his permission.

Mike, now 70 y/o is a US Army veteran that needs help. He is on disability after a very bad accident falling two stories thorough a metal awning about 15 years ago causing a serious brain injury. No home insurance due to disability and very limited income. After his accident, Mike took all his funds to buy the property where he lives figuring this is where he would live out the rest of his days.

Since we are about 500 miles away and we have obligations here in Houston, the best I can do for my friend is set up a fund for him to take care of some repairs to his home.

I know this is not the right forum to ask, but since our estate business has a lot of followers, I will risk asking knowing this will turn off some folks asking for assistance for my friend.

Can you spare 5 dollars for Mike? I know every dollar will help.

Day 7 of setting up the Greater Eastwood estate home in 77023 area of Houston. 2nd day of going through pricing the kitchen and pantry areas. Came across a box of vintage Ball Canning jars and various countertop appliances. Almost finished with this part of the home. Yay!
Started setting up our checkout area.
We may be about halfway through setting up this house.
Next week's plans are to go through the garage and workshop. We still have items in the house to display and price.
Funny how some folks think all this can be done in a couple of days.

Day 6 of this series of preparing an estate sale. The unglamourous side...
Dishpan Hands! Spent most of Tuesday at the Greater Eastwood estate home in 77023 area of Houston washing glasses and dishes. Still have a lot of kitchen goods and countertop appliances to sort through and arrange.
