Sometimes the best designs begin with taking something apart. 🤎✨

I cut up a labradorite collar necklace and gave one of its pieces a whole new life with Minnesota deerskin leather. And that moment when the vision comes together? You can absolutely see my excitement. 😂💙

That flash of blue-green labradorite, the softness of the leather, and the magic of creating something unexpected from something that already existed.

This is why I create. The experimenting, the trusting my instincts, the beautiful surprises along the way.

One piece, a new story. And yes… I’m a little obsessed. 🤎

Sometimes, art becomes more than art. 🤎

It started with leather — something to keep my hands busy when my mind wouldn’t settle, something tangible to hold onto when anxiety felt bigger than I knew how to explain.

Somewhere along the way, creating became more than a distraction. It became a place to breathe, to find a little peace, and to keep going when life asked more of me than I thought I had to give.

And slowly, through the quiet work of my hands, I found my way back to something deeper — my faith, my strength, and the reminder that perseverance doesn’t always look like fighting your way through. Sometimes, it looks like simply showing up again.

I started with leather. I found a lifeline. And along the way, God reminded me I was never holding it all together on my own.

Sometimes the thing that helps us survive a season becomes part of the purpose we carry forward. 🤍
