Juneteenth is a powerful reminder of what it looks like when people choose courage over convenience. Especially in times when the cost and stakes are high.

There's something about getting the whole team together. Let's just say a time was had (as usual). 🙂‍↕️ 🙌

We kicked things off at our Mid-Year Retreat with headshots and group photos by Faith Blackwell. Then we shifted into our three priorities for the year and where we each stand on them.

1. Break Sh*t Again
2. Multiplication Over Addition
3. Raise the Floor

From there, goal boards came out (our favorite part). Each team member draws a name, picks a song that represents that person, and the group guesses who it's about before the goal board and the reasoning behind the song are revealed.

It's one of those exercises that is equal parts fun and grounding. We get honest about where we are, what's working, and what the rest of the year needs to look like.

First and foremost, God. I've felt His hand move me multiple times this year, and He has been the strength behind everything I do. Beyond that, I could honestly give a shoutout to everyone on this team.

Aaron Prickel has been there to help me and genuinely wants to see me succeed.

Emily Shaw and Brian Kavicky have asked the important, challenging questions that pushed me to grow.

Rob Lime never once set rookie standards for me. He treated me like an equal from day one (and the same for the leadership team).

Lastly, Dan Faber, J.B. Andrews, and Mariah Stevens have meant more than they know. I'm grateful for all of it.

Challenging, growth, and focus.

𝟮. 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿?
Aaron Prickel and Brian Kavicky have challenged me both personally and professionally, which helped me reach a new level of growth.

Also, my wife is a huge inspiration for me. She finds the good in life, and it is so inspiring to watch.

𝟯. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆?
Me at 30. I would tell him there is so much more you can do if you get out of your own way. I was in NYC searching for clarity, and I wish I had trusted myself sooner.

Belief in myself. You are stronger than you think. The obstacle is the way. Every challenge is something to learn from and use to help others.

Focus. The ability to block out distractions and fully commit to what needs to be done in the moment.

Today is a day to recognize and honor the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, a leader who kept his eyes on the future even when the world resisted.

He stood alone armed with conviction, morals, courage, and a belief in justice. He showed that to make change, leaders must be willing to stand in uncomfortable positions.

To be a leader is to forge new paths, challenge the status quo, and inspire others to follow.
