I had the honor of escorting my Ancestor Medals - created with vintage American Legion pins, my dad's original photos from the 1970s, and labradorite crystals wrapped in bronze - to Ghost Gallery in Downtown Seattle for the "This is a Show About Grief" opening September 11, 2026. ✨ It will be an amazing show. ✨

Stopped in at The Handmade Showroom in downtown Seattle for a quick visit with my nephew (one of many fabulous helpers at the store!) and see my work on display and say hi to my little robin necklace. 😀 And, yes, it still is AWESOME at 11 years old!

Sometimes I like to wear what I'm making...my way of quality control. I had fun with a custom request for black watch dial bracelets. (And those needle nose pliers I'm holding used to belong to my Grandma Kathy. I'm deeply honored to be creating with her jewelry tools ever since she bequeathed them to me in 2005. 💕)

📸 Today would have been my dad's 85th birthday. I've incorporated him into my art and jewelry over the years. I have loved the time spent with his photos and contact sheets from the 1970s, finding joy in what he captured all those years ago and reimagining them into little jewelry pieces. His childhood photos have also appeared in my collages...my favorite is the time he got to play "cowboy" when a traveling photographer came through their neighborhood with a pony and the opportunity to dress up as a cowboy 🤠
