"Phi Theta Kappa has helped me see that education is about more than earning a degree; it's about using what I learn to create opportunities and make a difference in my community. The Leaders of Promise Scholarship provides meaningful support as I continue my education, while PTK has given me opportunities to develop my leadership skills and turn ideas into action. I hope to carry that commitment to leadership and community impact into my future career in business, communities and beyond." - Jennifer Smillie, Ivy Tech Community College- Columbus, IN.

Congratulations to Cherie Lee, one of our 2026 PTK Alumni Hall of Honor recipients.

Cherie Lee, an alumna of Western Iowa Tech Community College, has helped ensure eligible students not only learn about Phi Theta Kappa but are motivated to join, sharing her personal story with potential members. Cherie also helped her former chapter accomplish an ambitious College Project by donating her time and expertise as an artist to create a community mural. She empowered chapter members to step into leadership roles by motivating them to participate and modelling professionalism, planning and follow-through skills.

"I am so very thankful for the Chime scholarship and PTK, without the financial support, I may not have been able to continue my journey to become a Registered Dietician Technician at CCAC in Pittsburgh, PA. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!" - Lori Rupp, Community College of Allegheny County, PA.

“Being selected as a 2026 Chime Workforce Scholar means a great deal to me because this scholarship will directly support my educational expenses while I complete my associate degree and continue building Neubaum Electric. My involvement with Phi Theta Kappa has encouraged me through opportunities to receive recognition for my academic work, including being selected for the 2026 South Carolina All-State Academic Team. My long-term goal is to become a fully licensed electrical contractor, expand my business, and eventually create training and employment opportunities for others entering the electrical trade.” - Joseph Gregory Neubaum, Electrical Technology and Electrical Contracting, Midlands Technical College, SC.

Both PTK and the Chime Foundation have given me opportunities through scholarships and leadership development to better serve the healthcare industry and work towards my future career goals." - Ellyana Sand, Radiologic Technologist, Minnesota West Community and Technical College, MN.

"Phi Theta Kappa pushed me to step into leadership and realize I was capable of creating meaningful change on my campus and beyond. The New Century Transfer Pathway Scholarship and All-USA Academic Team recognition empower me as I work toward my goals and prepare for what comes next. I'm grateful for PTK's belief in my potential and excited to carry these lessons into my future." - Simone Bedi, Scottsdale Community College, AZ.

“The Chime Scholarship was unexpected and very much appreciated, as it took a huge weight off my shoulders in terms of figuring out how to pay for school. I am a kidney recipient and cannot work full-time as a result, and the program I’m in is extremely demanding and time-consuming, so being able to focus more on my health and studies has been a huge relief! Thank you, PTK & Chime!" - Tess La Fera, Pikes Peak State College, CO.

"Phi Theta Kappa has had a significant impact on my life. From being an average homeschooled student, to then having a place in an international honors society is something I will always be incredibly grateful for. I am honored to have received the Hites Scholarship, the award will greatly support my transfer and help me continue a degree in Art Education." - Mia Kelly, Walters State Community College, TN.
