You may wonder why there is a picture of a chandelier advertising a jewelry shop. Well The Vintage Rose Jewelry Boutique was named after my mom, Rosalee. The chandelier was hers. (It now resides in our brick and mortar.) She loved everything that glittered. As a matter of fact, SHE glittered. Jewelry was a passion of hers, and it didn’t matter if it was real or costume, as long as it sparkled... We lovingly teased her about the “fancy” things she liked and my dad used to say she would swoop down from the sky like a crow to something shiny on the ground when it came to sparkly things. (I’m sure that was meant as some sort of compliment... because he thought she was beautiful and perfect, but really Dad, a CROW???)
