Think Minnesota is just lakes and the Mall? Think again. 👀

You can stand where sacred red stone has been carved for generations at Pipestone National Monument, explore underground pools and twisting passages inside Mystery Cave at Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park, or climb billion-year-old cliffs at Palisade Head along Lake Superior.

There’s a room in Minneapolis at Orfield Laboratories so quiet you can supposedly hear your own heartbeat. A waterfall slicing through a 10-foot chasm at Vermillion Falls. Wild bison roaming prairie beside 100-foot quartzite cliffs at Blue Mounds State Park.

Oh — and actual gangster-era caves under St. Paul at Wabasha Street Caves.

Minnesota’s “hidden” side? Not so quiet once you know where to look. 😉

✨ What if wonder isn't something you find, but something you notice?

A favorite trail, a beach sunset, a wildflower growing through the cracks, or a quiet moment with family. Michigan is full of small joys if we slow down long enough to see them.

When people talk about Michigan beach towns, Lake Michigan often gets all the attention.

But Lake Huron has beautiful beaches, turquoise water, family-friendly state parks, and some incredible sunrise views.

If your idea of a good time includes 500-foot bluffs, ancient petroglyphs, waterfalls crashing through lava rock, and beaches with dunes tall enough to make your calves question their life choices… Wisconsin understood the assignment.

You can rock climb above a 360-acre lake at Devil’s Lake State Park, stargaze in near-total darkness at Newport State Park (it’s the only wilderness-designated park in the state), or wander glacial kettles and eskers inside Kettle Moraine State Forest.

There are 60-foot observation towers, ferry rides to island cliffs at Big Bay State Park, waterfalls tucked into river gorges at Copper Falls State Park, and even a reconstructed 1800s shot tower at Tower Hill State Park.

Basically? 23 parks. Zero excuses.
