How often do you encounter God-incidences?

I know I personally did just today. My dad, who passed away in 2012, used to always say "This too shall pass". I know this is a common thing said, but a whistle order came through that I was working on today. The customer requested "This too shall pass" on the whistle and this bible verse on the whistle box:

"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4: 17-18

Not only did it speak to me with that alone, it is also to a daughter and her husband from her dad for her wedding day. It made me emotional. I felt like God was speaking to me through this order.

We can completely miss these instances in the midst of our busy lives. When you come across what may seem like a coincidence - on the surface - in your daily life, take a moment to see what God may be trying to reveal to you in that situation...digest it. He may be calling you to do something, help someone, or simply to be still and pray.

I can say, I don't believe in coincidences. I believe in God-incidences, as my husband, Breck, often says.

Today, we can choose to let compassion rise, grace soften and love lead.
