Christmas craft inspiration!
Turn an inexpensive serving tray into nostalgic Christmas wall décor with three tiny no-sew stockings.
Materials: Oval metal tray, vintage Santa print or napkin, Mod Podge, cream and silver paint, brown antiquing paint, fabric scraps, cream felt, fabric glue, jute, faux pine and berries, awl and hot glue.
Directions:
1. Paint the tray cream and its rim silver. Dab brown paint lightly around the edges for an aged finish.
2. Decoupage the Santa image inside the tray.
3. Cut two matching fabric pieces for each stocking. Glue their edges together, leaving the tops open; add cream cuffs and jute loops.
4. Carefully punch two cord holes in the lower rim and one hanging hole at the top. Thread jute through the lower holes and hang the stockings.
5. Attach a small pine-and-berry cluster at the upper corner and add a jute hanger.
