I don’t wear pieces to blend in. I wear them because they give me strength. Silver on my hands feels like carrying a little courage with me. Why do you wear jewelry?

I wear my mountain necklace every day. I never take it off. The first one I made, the one I wore up Kilimanjaro, has a tanzanite set a third of the way up the chain. The new one, with its bold silhouette, sits in the center for all to see. For a while I wore them together, but the chains would always tangle. One day the smaller one slipped further up the chain and I loved the way it looked. So I decided to modify it, and now my necklace carries both stories at once. Bill Cunningham once said, “Fashion is the armor to survive the reality of everyday life.” That’s exactly how I feel about these mountain pieces. For me, they’re a reminder of challenge and change. For you, they might mean something different, your own personal mountain, your own reason for putting on armor every day. I’ve now created new mountain necklaces for my latest fundraiser - climbing three volcanoes in Guatemala. Wear one as a symbol of the climb you’re making, whatever it may be. https://www.thesilversculptor.com/collections/mountain-collection

Do you have a favorite? I have a few! Actually. I love all of them, I can’t choose one over another. One of the reasons I got into jewelry designing and making was because I couldn’t find jewelry that I loved. I liked statement pieces, but the pieces I liked were always costume jewelry with crappy glued in gemstones. I liked (and still do) pieces that didn’t have gemstones and I wanted them in sterling silver, not a metal that was going to turn my fingers green. So, being crafty (I love making things, no matter what it is), I decided to try and make something… and my jewelry making journey evolved from there.

The Mobius Ring is a symbol of infinity. Handcrafted from sterling silver, the minimalist silhouette, ridged surface and continuous loop creates a piece that feels like wearable art.

About me

All of my jewelry is custom made for you, by me, so when you buy something from me, rest assured that I will be making your piece from scratch - just for you!

My style is simple but bold. I take inspiration from my everyday surroundings, particularly from architecture. There are lots of clean lines and geometric structures in my work that reflect this.

I hope you find something you like, if you don't, ask me about making a custom piece.
