Nearly 40% of Black women leave corporate America due to racial and gender discrimination.

Nevertheless, Black women remain the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the U.S. I lived these statistics before I ever studied them. Much of my entrepreneurial journey was born of this reality, and my doctorate in Organizational Leadership was a decade-long commitment to understanding the depth of the reality for so many Black women business owners seeking freedom from a system never built to support them.
