Earlier this month, the Missouri Department of Agriculture Grain Inspection Services completed a train inspection with an all-female grain inspection crew — a noteworthy moment to recognize.
Pictured left to right:
Morgan Akey, Assistant Manager, St. Joseph Service Point Field Office; Monica Morgan; Brookelyn Graves; and Jessica Lopez.
As noted by AAGIWA Board Member Erin Casey-Campbell, Program Manager, Grain Inspection Services, Missouri Department of Agriculture, it’s unclear whether this represents a first, but it is certainly unique and meaningful.
AAGIWA is proud to highlight the professionalism and dedication of inspectors across our member agencies who uphold the integrity of the grain inspection system every day.

Honoring all who served. 🇺🇸With gratitude to the men and women who have defended our freedom—today and every day.
