For years, I suffered in silence, not knowing that the painful flare-ups I experienced had a name. Although I wasn’t officially diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurativa until 8 years ago, my journey started long before that.

This Hidradenitis Suppurativa Awareness Week, I’m sharing my story to help break the stigma, spread awareness, and remind others that they are not alone. Living with HS can be physically and emotionally challenging, but our voices matter, our stories matter, and awareness can lead to earlier diagnoses and better support.

It’s Hidradenitis Suppurativa Awareness Week 💜

Living with HS isn’t just about what people can see, it’s about the pain, the flare-ups, the appointments, the exhaustion, and the strength it takes to keep showing up every day. For those of us living with HS, every day is a reminder that resilience is built through challenges.

Today, I’m helping raise awareness, break the stigma, and remind others that they are not alone in this journey. Our scars tell stories of survival, courage, and strength.

So I used to go live all the time until I hit that weird space where it felt like I was just talking to myself. Not enough people in the room, and even when they did come in, it was hard to keep the energy flowing and keep the room engaged.

I stepped back for a minute.

But lately I’ve been thinking… should I go live again?

And if I do, I’m stuck between two ideas:

Option 1: Bring the classes back
Teach y’all how to actually use TikTok, how to grow, how to work a Live room, how to understand engagement, and how to move smarter on the app.

Option 2: Chill Live rooms
Just a relaxed space where we talk about different topics, vibe out, no pressure, nothing too heavy… just community and conversation.

I really want to know what YOU think.

Especially my community members who used to pull up and rock with me in my Lives—your opinion matters the most.

Also, if I do come back, I’ll need moderators and panel members to help build the space the right way this time.

I’m not everybody’s cup of tea… and that’s okay because I’m champagne. 🥂✨

I built my platform by showing up, teaching what I know, supporting others, and staying true to who I am. Some people watch, some people learn, some people judge, and some people are inspired. Either way, I keep growing.

I’m a business owner. I’m a creator. I’m a teacher. I’m a survivor. I’m a healer. And every version of me that I’ve had to become was worth it.

The people who are meant for me will always find me. 💜

I miss that On-Cor Penne Pasta & Meatballs with Tomato Sauce so bad 😭😂 It’s been FOREVER since I’ve had it and for some reason I randomly crave it all the time. I swear every store in Kansas City and the surrounding areas acts like it never existed 🥴 Somebody please tell me where y’all are finding it because at this point I’m about to start a missing persons report for it 😩🍝
